**pehrspace** welcomes trumpeter **Chris Williams**, vocalist **Jessika Kenney** in a duo with guitarist J**oe Baiza**, and drummer **Max Jaffe** in a trio with **Josh Johnson** and **Gregory Uhlmann** to 2220. ~

**Chris Williams** is an interdisciplinary artist and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. His work takes the form of electroacoustic composition and performance installation and deals with themes of family history, ambience, and time-space compression. He is often collaborating with contemporary improvisers and experimentalists and has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe. Williams has been commissioned by WasteLAnd and International Contemporary Ensemble and has been in residence or with BANFF Centre for the Arts, Foundation of Contemporary Arts, Atlantic Center for the Arts, Musik Installationen Nürnberg and is 2023 American Composers Forum Fellow and 2024 Hermitage Artist Retreat Fellow. He has collaborated with creators including Eyvind Kang, Joanna Mattrey, Lester St. Louis, Patrick Shiroishi, Bennie Maupin, Nicole Mitchell, Fay Victor, Wendy Eisenberg, Luke Stewart, Pink Siifu, and Marjani Forte-Saunders.

**Jessika Kenney** is a vocalist and composer operating at a unique intersection of haptic and aural senses, a life-long student of oral traditions. Her acclaimed duo with Eyvind Kang has resulted in many spell-binding albums including the upcoming Azure. She released the solo album Atria (Sige), has recorded the music of Alvin Lucier and Jarrad Powell, collaborated with many artists including Lori Goldston, Melati Suryodarmo, and Niloufar Shiri, and created sound/video/sculpture/scores like Anchor Zero, shown at the Frye Art Museum in Seattle in 2015. "**Joe Baiza** is truly one of the great guitarists to come out of the so-called punk rock scene of southern California, "so-called" because most of Baiza's music fits more into the category of free jazz or jazz-rock....The amusing name Universal Congress Of was at first just the title of a Baiza solo album in 1987, but evolved into a group whose three original releases became favorites of the electric jazz audience.
