From their start, Future Islands have been singular and instantly identifiable. Samuel T. Herring’s life-worn croons and cries backlit by Gerrit Welmers’ melodies and charged by the rhythms of William Cashion and Michael Lowry. That premise hasn’t changed on People Who Aren’t There Anymore, but the people have. There’s a pain and a joy that’s in Herring’s voice that’s only been rivaled by their legendary live performances, but never captured in their studio albums, that feels like it’s been untethered for the first time.

Future Islands have played nearly 1,500 shows – shows that have bruised bodies, frayed vocal cords, provided escapes for audiences, and healed their messengers. People Who Aren’t There Anymore is a major work from a band at an inflection point: they’re discovering new ways to experience the world, because the old ways weren’t working. That freedom has led to the most fully realized, most transparently honest statement in their 17 years as a band.

IS CASH ACCEPTED?

Food from the Chefs at Burial Forestry Camp will be available for purchase. You are welcome to bring in snacks if you have special dietary needs.

WILL FOOD BE AVAILABLE?

Yes, however all persons under 18 years old must be accompanied by a legal gaurdian.

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Yes, however if you do not have your event wristband you will not be allowed back in.

IS THERE RE-ENTRY?

We are offering a free shuttle bus that picks up starting at 4:00pm at 10 Buxton Ave and will run continuously until the last guest needs to be brought back. There will be a break in shuttle service between 8:00-9:00pm.

There is no parking onsite or in the neighborhood. Please use ride shares and direct them to Ferguson Plumbing next door or park in Biltmore Village.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Ferguson Plumbing has first come first serve parking for people that need ADA accommodations.

IS THERE ADA ACCESS OR PARKING?

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

This concert is hosted outdoors and is rain or shine. Please plan accordingly. If at any point there is unsafe inclement weather, you will be notified through email of any postponement or cancellation.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

No. We have seating throughout the outdoors and inside Forestry Camp and there is not enough space for outside chairs. If you have a specific ADA needs, please email info@burialbeer.com

CAN I BRING A CHAIR?

Children under 12 years of age do not need a ticket. Please ensure you purchase ear protection ahead of time for young children.

**THE BLACK ANGELS**

Since forming in Austin in 2004, **The Black Angels** have become standard-bearers for modern psych-rock, and the New York Times has said they “play psychedelic rock as if the 1960s never ended, and they are absolute masters of it”. The band has toured with Queens of the Stone Age, Brian Jonestown Massacre, the Black Keys + more, and played festivals such as Glastonbury, Fuji Rock, Primavera, Harvest Fest, Coachella and Bonnaroo. Two of the band members co-founded Levitation Festival (formerly Austin Psych Fest) in 2008, which has since grown into one of the best-reviewed and expertly-curated festivals in the country (returning in 2018).

**EARTHLESS**

Earthless is a mostly instrumental psychedelic rock band from San Diego, California, consisting of guitarist Isaiah Mitchell, bassist Mike Eginton and drummer Mario Rubalcaba. The band's music features long semi-improvised songs drawing on classic rock, psychedelic rock, metal, blues rock, jazz, and krautrock.
