Home and Abroad is a multi-genre Afro-centric global dance and drum party. A sound journey for the musical traveler and dance adventurist. We are a crew of DJs, Percussionists and Dancers that electrify the crowd all night long. We straddle the space between a traditional DJ led dance party and a live music performance. We create and sustain a sound space that has been described by our followers as a place of belonging, healing and unencumbered dance joy. Come along and traverse sounds from the African Continent, The Caribbean and Latin America with us.

Have you known heartbreak? Have you felt the devastation of unrequited love? Dolly can heal the injustices of your life and make you feel again! No one has painted a more accurate picture of this universal condition and this Valentine’s Day (the Friday before, that is), Doll Parts will guide you on a tour of the bottomless abyss that is love, through the eyes of America’s most treasured icon.

Of course, you'll still hear your favorites like Islands in the Stream and Jolene but you'll also be transported via a number of heartbreak-themed gems, arranged especially for the occasion like Heartbreak Express and D.I.V.O.R.C.E.

Doll Parts Heartbreak is one of the newest, (our second annual) in a series of deep dives into Dolly’s work in an attempt to explore more of the country queen’s catalog of over 40 albums.

The Soul-born, Berlin-based party starter known as DJ Fart in the Club brings her inimitable energy and unforgettable presence to the Sound Room for an all-night affair. Like her name might imply, there's a cheek and restless jovilaty that course through Fart's sets. A master of a deep, emotive side of club music she rips around a sonic playground of colourful house & techno, vintage breaks, bargain-bin club tracks & sprinkles of euphoric randomness. Regulard helming that stage in Berlin's Berghain and Panorama Bar, as well as clubs across Europe, we're excited to welcome her for her debut here.

This year we’re celebrating the 15th anniversary of Fool’s Gold, a label founded by DJs.

The art of DJing — from record digging to technical mixing to audiophile explorations — is so important to us, so we partnered up with the venue that has the very best sound in the city: Public Records Sound Room.

Fool’s Gold will be holding a yearlong residency at Public Records, where the label will traverse the wide range of styles that it has touched over the years. The kickoff party will be February 19th with the label’s founders A-Trak & Nick Catchdubs behind the decks. The following dates, spread through the rest of the year, will touch on specific themes and styles. Expect a turntablist showcase, a soulful house night curated by The Brothers Macklovitch and an end-of-summer outdoor jam.
