Mais avec This Is The Kit, alias Kate Stables, autrice-compositrice / banjoïste / amatrice de photo à sténopé, parisienne née à Winchester au Royaume-Uni, nous allons devoir accorder au temps un minimum de considération. Parce que non seulement Kate est toujours là et fait des albums empreints d'honnêteté cataclysmique et d'étreintes tonales chaleureuses, mais en plus ils continuent de grandir, ce qui est probablement la seule façon intelligente d'avancer dans le temps.

La musique de This Is The Kit place la compagnie au premier plan, donc être accueilli dans son espace semble être un privilège évident, via son disque comme en salle de concert avec son casting de soutien stellaire composé de Rozi Plain (basse), Jamie Whitby-Coles (batterie) et Neil Smith (guitare). Because not only is Kate still here and making albums of cataclysmic honesty and welcoming tonal embraces, they are continuing to grow, which is probably the only smart way to move forward through time, unless you're one of those shrinkers.

This Is The Kit's music places companionship at a premium, so being welcomed into its space feels like an obvious privilege, on record and in concert hall with her stellar supporting cast of Rozi Plain (bass), Jamie Whitby-Coles (drums) and Neil Smith (guitar).
