John Bigham, known as The Soul of John Black, is an award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer who is a son of the blues. After eight years in the ska/punk rock band Fishbone, and a stop with Miles Davis’ as a writer and percussionist, Bigham emerged as The Soul of John Black to musically capture his love for blues, funk, and soul. Bigham fully embraces his blues’ roots. “Playing this is music my love letter to the blues. I’m taking it back to Mississippi, to the Delta, and my roots in Chicago and Atlanta in my own way.”
