The Dwarfs Of East Agouza sono una forza trainante della musica d'improvvisazione. Fondati al Cairo da Maurice Louca (Alif, Bikya), Sam Shalabi (Land of Kush, Shalabi Effect) e Alan Bishop (Sun City Girls, The Invisible Hands), il trio ha sviluppato un suono unico e sempre riconoscibile, mutaforma dal free jazz e krautrock fino ad influenze arabe e musica shaabi egiziana. Nel marzo 2023, i Dwarfs Of East Agouza presentano il loro nuovo album "High Tide In The Lowlands" (Sub Rosa).
