On Friday 20th October 2023, Cult of Luna will return to London to curate the second BEYOND THE REDSHIFT.

The cosmological redshift is caused by the expansion of space. The wavelength of light increases as it traverses the expanding universe. Unable to assume that we have a special place within this universe, the redshift suggests to us that everything is moving away from everything else…

We may not be able to go beyond the redshift, but we can certainly think beyond it. We are bringing together artists who expand within their space - artists who create something special within this space.

This second installment of the festival will once again run across three venues - The Forum, The Dome and Boston Music Room. Having been announced in 2021 - and inevitably postponed - the lineup remains intact to an extent but also radically refreshed: alongside the CULT OF LUNA headline show will be legendary UK heavyweights NAPALM DEATH; from the band's own label Red Creek is the electrifying French post-hardcore of BIRDS IN ROW; the chaotic hardcore of TRENCH comes all the way from Canada; whilst ŞTIU NU ŞTIU are the first band from Cult of Luna's home country of Sweden to be announced. There is much more to come.
