Equal parts inspired by Alex G and Modest Mouse melded with J Dilla and Kamasi Washington, sunking are comprised of duo Bobby Granfelt and Antoine Martel, two members of the Seattle experimental jazz group High Pulp who released their new album ‘SMUG’ this past November on ANTI.  
Wildly inventive and utterly hypnotic while filtering the pair’s bold vision and virtuosic musicianship though the brash, DIY ethos of an underground punk band. They will be performing improvised works of the new record ‘SMUG’ that Rolling Stone calls an “experimental laboratory for branched fusion sounds.”
