When a young band harks back to music history, the music press often has the usual reflexes. The stigma of retro-rock is attached to the dull imitation of past times. This does not do justice to a band like Wucan. Wucan break up ossified genre conventions. They develop something new with creativity on the basis of a rock tradition that has its origins in the late 1960s and yet is much more than just Anglo-American. The Dresdeners do not so much follow the relevant acts, but pay tribute to their own history.

With their third LP Wucan bring fresh wind into the German rock landscape and prove: Hardrock is not a pose - it's a lifestyle!
