Mickey Callisto is unlike anything around at the moment, he's a self-aware beacon of positivity who celebrates being yourself in the purest form. A new kind of popstar, he makes psychedelic, bedroom-made synth-pop bangers.

Expect a ski suit, Italo disco, chirpy piano chords and an interstellar synth. His psych synth-pop tunes are produced entirely from his bedroom and his larger-than-life Liverpudlian charm echoes through his music and performances, which have drawn comparisons to Freddie Mercury and Abba.

Praised by Anthony Fantano (The Needle Drop) as a "Funky Boy", Oliver Marson's music exists in the same vein as art rock bands like Sparks and Pulp as well as more contemporary artists like Alex Cameron, Kirin J Callinan and Connan Mockasin.
