Metronomy was born in 1999 when frontman Joseph Mount received a secondhand computer from his dad to make music in his bedroom. Initially a solo laptop/DJ act, it later expanded into a five-piece band who have sailed between sophisticated indie pop on 2011’s Mercury Prize-nominated The English Riviera (home to fan favourite ‘The Look’) and psychedelic rock and soul on 2014’s Love Letters.
