Legendary Minnesota musician Matt Wilson's self-described "banjo-harp-gentle-rockin-happy-machine" returns to The Parkway for what's sure to be a magical night of music making. Featuring Matt Wilson (Trip Shakespeare, Twilight Hours), banjoist Quillan Roe (The Roe Family Singers, Farm Accident), guitar wizard Jacques Wait, and harpist Phala Tracy.

There is a small (8-9 spaces) parking lot across the street from the theater that fills up quickly. All other nearby parking is street parking and is free of charge.

What is parking like near the theater?

How do I purchase accessibility tickets?

While it is recommended that you have the Dice app, it is not required to check in. You can always just give your name to the door attendant upon arrival and they can get you checked in!

With five consecutive DownBeat Critics Poll Rising Star nods and a Best New Artist award from the New York Jazz Critics Circle to his name, drummer, bandleader, educator and composer Matt Wilson is one of the most in-demand musicians in jazz. An Illinois native, Wilson got his start as a freelancer in the Midwest before moving to Boston and working with the innovative ensemble Either/Orchestra. Upon his arrival in New York, Wilson established a reputation as a peerless bandleader and sideman whose career includes stints with Joe Lovano, Lee Konitz, John Scofield, Charlie Haden, Denny Zeitlin, Jane Ira Bloom and dozens more. He’s recorded a dozen albums under his own name and leads a number of stimulating ensembles including the Matt Wilson Quartet, Arts & Crafts, Trio M, and this decidedly joyous holiday trio project.
