Solstice are contemporaries of Marillion, Pendragon, IQ, Palls and the rest of the great UK Neu Prog movement of the early 80s. They have recently become more active again with the release of a couple of studio albums in the past couple of years and another scheduled for January 2023. Their increased activity and popularity has not gone unnoticed and has seen them perform recently at Prog For Peart, A New Day, Glastonbury, Veruna in Italy and by the time of this concert will have headlined one of the days at the 2023 Fusion festival.

LA MASCHERA DI CERA (Italy)

La Maschera di Cera are on their first tour of the UK, but make no mistake, this band are an established force to be reckoned with. A swift glance at their 20 year history with seven studio albums behind them, one of which they released in both English & their native Italian. They have made 2 albums with Franz Di Cioccio (PFM drummer and vocalist) as producer. This should tell you that this is a band above and beyond the average. There's a further half dozen live albums released too and they are regularly invited to perform at some of the biggest festivals in Europe, they have played twice in USA (2007 and 2009) and will play in Canada next May. It's absolutely astonishing to think that this band has been right around the globe but has yet to perform in the UK. Well, they are finally coming, so get your tickets now before word gets out to their many fans.
