A brand-new monthly night from Sheaf St. Quality Sounds, Local talent, top-notch guests, and selection over genre.

Curated in house by Sheaf St’s own Rufus and James the last Friday of every month sees four of Leeds brightest local DJs on rotation supporting monthly headliners chosen for their wide-reaching record bags. Uplifting, fun and friendly, a place to meet like-minded people and get lost in the sounds.
Each month is led by our resident DJs crafting the warmup and closing sets to frame a different visiting guest. For the first event, we’re delighted to have Alexander Nut take the guest spot with Kessie and Marjai on Resident Duty.

**ALEXANDER NUT**

One of the UK’s most diverse and influential Dj’s Having honed his skills at London’s legendary Plastic People nightclub, and though 8 years of broadcasting on the then pirate Rinse FM, the highly respected DJ's unique vision has seen him play to some of the finest dance floors around the globe. An avid record collector, uninhibited by tempo or time zone, his expansive taste and knowledge draws heavy on influences from House, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Afrobeat, Reggae and Funk. Alex is also the man behind Eglo Records, the label he co-founded with Floating Points in 2008.

**KESSIE**
is becoming a staple of northern club culture, playing a selection of some of the most weird and wonderful tracks we’ve ever come across, Tempo-bending Thick Electronica.

**MARJAI**
is a refreshing and exciting approach to the usual quirks of the modern DJ, impressing upon us many times with his curveball bangers, with a skill for discovering tracks with Intricate slick drum programming and off-kilter rhythms.

**KAIDUN**
has been a sheaf alumni for many years, coming to the first open deck we ever held. Years on he’s one of our favourite new producers/selectors. Digging deep to the bottom of the rave, Dark, Ethereal yet Uplifting.

**TAÑ**
is now in high demand, for her fast-paced no-nonsense sets finding the hottest sounds in UK Bass. Hip-shaking drums and backed-up thumping bass. 808s-a-plenty.

**SHEAF ST**
Sheaf St. is a café, a bar, and multifunctional event space. Serving up an eclectic programme of events, fresh food, and fun welcoming parties for nice, friendly folk.
