After selling out their last show back in November, Shkoon will be performing a live set in Camden’s iconic venue KOKO London. Oceanvs Orientalis, Ameli Paul will be joining us again alongside Juan Hansen for the impressive lineup.

Shkoon blends their German-Syrian roots together by performing Arabic lyrics and using old traditional music elements of the Arab community, such as Syrian folklore, which today is more relevant than ever. In their sets, oriental melodies partner up with occidental electronic. From their meeting back in 2015 to now, the band has travelled Europe and the Globe playing at the most unique festivals and venues.

With a fluidity exploring many genres, Oceanvs Orientalis merges unfamiliar sounds developed from the long history of music with rhythms of the modern house to create unheard blended tracks and sets.

Ameli Paul represents the raw aspects of music with the succinct and intricate productions of Paul, with Ameli’s sentimental voice and inherent songlike musicality. Their cinematic dance-meets-pop style creates a sound never heard before using synthesizers, field recordings, vocals and guitars.

Buenos Aires based Juan Hansen is known for blending different genres without prejudice, experimenting with his musical character and the profound intention of transforming a set into an experience.
