A music lover and curator first, Esk is the voice of Wednesday mornings on the legendary Rinse FM.

The Oxford-born, British-Pakistani DJ & broadcaster has established

himself as a passionate champion of new music, spotlighting artists

from the UK and beyond. Previously on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM,

finding his voice interviewing the likes of IAMDDB, Knucks, Elmiene and

Wesley Joseph early in their careers, then adding in-depth conversations

with names such as Maverick Sabre, hip-hop royalty Talib Kweli, and one

of the UK’s most respected DJs, Benji B.

On the dance-floor, Esk refuses to be restricted by sound or tempo. His

expansive taste and off the cuff style draws heavily on influences from

broken beat, house, jungle, R&B and hip-hop, to an array of bass and

club ready sounds.

Come shake a leg with us, as we celebrate with our family, SOLAARISS. He graced our first event just 2 years ago - so it was only right we invite him back to curate a special day party, with plenty of friends and family to announce alongside him.

The versatile South-London artist known for playing a range of instruments (most notably the saxophone) has played alongside global superstars like KAYTRANDA, WizKid, J Hus, Skyla Tylaa and Larizzle in the last 12 months alone! Lighting up stages at Wireless, Boiler Room, Royal Albert Hall, Dankie Sounds, AfroNation and many more.
