The remarkable mix of acoustic, analogue and digital instruments that make up this special orchestra are filtered, manipulated, crushed and treated live – rendering the entire orchestra a giant synthesiser.

For this performance, the orchestra is joined by guest vocalists Rachel Chinouriri, Betty Boo and Ibibio Sound Machine’s Eno Williams.

Arrangements by composer Charlotte Harding deliver a glorious new way of experiencing White’s iconic tunes, including fresh accounts of some of his greatest work.

The Love Unlimited Synth Orchestra premiered to a revelling crowd at Glastonbury Festival 2019, where a stellar line-up of special guests brought their own take on White’s iconic bass, reinstating his overlooked genius as a composer.
