High Praise returns to the basement for another session of uplifting dancefloor jams under the red light.

This time round, it’s an extra special family affair, as High Praise welcome two of their most recent signings Divorce From New York and Dampé to the intimate basement at Jaguar Shoes.

Hailing from San-Sebastian, Spain -Divorce From New York (AKA Alvaro Granda) dropped his latest LP ‘Sausalito’ last year gaining support from Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music), Benji B, Jamz Supernova Errol (Touching Bass), DJ Mag & many more. Createing a rich web of broken beat flavours, uplifting sonics and syncopated rhythms - melding elements of jungle, house and bruk with jazz sensibilities, Granda solidified his position as one of Europe’s most authentic and original beatmakers.

London based producer & sound designer Dampé prepares to release his expansive and head-spinning new 12” ‘Glow’. With previous support coming from the likes of Tom Ravenscroft, Dummy, Bandcamp, Boiler Room, Mixmag, DJ Mag and Keep Hush, Dampé showcases why he’s making a name forhimself as one to watch in the UK’s vibrant Electronic music scene.

Support comes from High Praise’s honcho Josh Byrne. A dedicated student of music, and an avid crate digger - over the past 12 years Josh has been supplying worldwide dancefloors with groove heavy sets, with influences spanning across the sonic spectrum. Whether at the helm of his labels XVI Records and High Praise, his work as a publicist / radio plugger, or his lecturing at Point Blank Music School, Josh has been focussed on championing both emerging and established artists, and making sure that cutting edge new music is heard by the right people, in the right places. As a radio host he's appeared on the likes of NTS Radio, Rinse FM, Balamii, Melodic Distraction and more, and has a released a handful of beat tapes under the alias MossGatherer (With support coming from Tom Ravenscroft, Lauren Laverne, Kutmah, OkayPlayer to name a few).
