Scottish musical duo Norman&Corrie bring their unique musical setup to present bewitching, adventurous interpretations of traditional melodies at Kings Place as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, ahead of the release of their debut album in November 2024. The duo are challenging traditional notions of folk and jazz with new pieces translated from ancestral melodies that they recently discovered during a residency in Shetland, where they spent time learning from tradition-bearers and explored the music archives of the Shetland Museum.
