Ellis Jones has played music as Trust Fund since 2012 – with recordings ranging from lo-fi bedroom pop to full-band indie rock. His songs have been critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and The Guardian, and endorsed via two placings on Frank Ocean's Blonded Radio. Trust Fund have played extensively in the UK and EU, including tours supporting Mitski, Speedy Ortiz, Frankie Cosmos and Los Campesinos!. After an extended break between 2017 and 2022, Ellis recently released the singles 'capital', 'late nite skate', and 'animals in war' – these quiet, introspective indie-folk songs have been playlisted by NPR, Merge, New York Times, and others. Trust Fund will be playing as a two-piece on their first ever US tour.

For fans of never knowing wtf to expect comes Dim Wizard, a new project from Washington, DC's David Combs that will feature a different sound and cast of contributors from song-to-song. The whole idea of Dim Wizard is to subvert expectations; each song can go in whatever direction serves it best, without the constraints of a band identity. Most artists had to figure out new ways to create during the pandemic but David essentially started a different long-distance band for each recording—with different producers, vocalists, and instrumentalists for each song. Continuing in that vein the Dim Wizard live band takes the songs in new directions with a new cast of characters including members of Flasher, Emotional World and Glue Factory.
