Other than a change in date & location, our festival formula remains the same: a line-up overflowing with genre pioneers and the most exciting emerging talent, and an array of family, wellness & cultural activities.

A weekend festival ticket includes:

\- Entrance to the festival; 12pm Thursday 10th August - 12pm Monday 14th.

Having previously taken place in Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire for the last three editions, the festival is excited to embark on a new chapter in an idyllic new site; unfurling within 400 acres of lush parkland in the South-West of England.

The festival will lay roots within the Grade II\* listed grounds of St Giles House, a nature-filled sanctuary that invites the We Out Here audience to escape, unwind and explore together in August 2023.

Gus Fairbairn, aka Alabaster DePlume, has a pocketful of phrases that he uses all the time whether he’s walking down the street or holding court with musicians and an audience. For a long time the Mancunian would tell anyone who’d listen that they were doing very well. More recently, it’s another phrase which has a similar effect and which belies his unwavering commitment to personal vulnerability and collective politics: “Don’t forget you’re precious.”

A process that is people-first not product-first ensures that the music is unique; often gem-like. Alabaster DePlume’s songs are built on sonorous circular melodies and luminous tones that transmit calmness and generosity in warm waves – unless they’re raging against complacency and the everyday inhumanity of end times capitalism. Most importantly, he brings a valuable transparency to his work. “This is what I’m really doing,” he says. “I want to talk about why I’m doing this, and how I’m doing this.

At the entrance, sync your credit card or debit card to your wristband at one of the many activation stations. After this easy and secure setup you don't have to use your card once inside, just use your wristband to pay for your drinks. No cards will be accepted at the bar, but cash is always accepted.
