London-based DJ and producer Ahad Elley – aka Ahadadream – is known for two things: spotlighting and supporting South Asian artists (in 2022, he returned to his native Pakistan to lead workshops for young people); and his percussive club tracks. In a given set, he’ll play everything from UK funky to batida, amapiano and gqom.

This October, Ahadadream heads to Village Underground for one of his biggest headline shows to date. A leading light within the UK scene, Ahad’s percussive mastery has taken him across the globe, lighting up dancefloors from Glastonbury and Sonar to closing Printworks’ final run of shows. Alongside this, he’s released sought-after tracks on his own More Time imprint, R&S and penned remixes for the likes of Eliza, all while running the now-global South Asian creative movement Dialled In.

A year on from a rapturous all-night-long set at Colour Factory last October, with over 1000 dancers in attendance, Ahadadream now looks to Village Underground, one of East London’s best loved venues. This time, he’ll be playing an extended set and bringing a bunch of friends with him, all representing the very best in UK dance music.
